01

TELL US ABOUT YOUR OPERATION

It starts with understanding your truck, not just matching you to whatever load is available. We learn your equipment, number of trucks, home base, preferred lanes, operating regions, and any areas you want to avoid.

We also learn your home-time preferences, communication preferences, and operational priorities. A dispatcher shouldn't treat every truck as identical - the details you share here shape everything that follows.

02

ONBOARDING

Once your initial information is reviewed, onboarding begins. Applicable carrier and business information and documents may be collected as part of this step - we won't ask for sensitive documents on this public page; that happens through a secure onboarding process.

Onboarding isn't instant. We need to understand your operation thoroughly before dispatch support begins, so we can search and evaluate loads that actually fit your truck rather than generic freight.

03

BUILD YOUR DISPATCH PROFILE

Your dispatch profile goes deeper than your initial application. We build out your equipment, preferred lanes, any minimum considerations you supply, regions, home time, operating schedule, preferred communication, and any special restrictions.

This profile guides every search we run for you - but it doesn't guarantee matching freight will always exist. Preferences narrow the search; the market determines what's actually available.

04

WE SEARCH FOR LOADS

With your profile built, we start searching. We weigh your current truck location, equipment, pickup and destination, loaded miles, deadhead, pickup/delivery timing, rate, lane, your stated preferences, and potential reload positioning.

Finding a load isn't necessarily about selecting the highest gross dollar amount - it's about finding the option that actually makes sense for your operation once all of that is considered.

05

WE EVALUATE THE OPPORTUNITY

A gross rate alone doesn't tell the whole story. We look at Loaded RPM, Deadhead, Total Trip Miles, Effective RPM, destination, timing, and reload position before a load reaches you.

For example: Load A pays $2,800 with 180 miles of deadhead. Load B pays $2,600 with only 20 miles of deadhead. Depending on your operating costs, Load B's higher effective RPM could make more operational sense - even at a lower gross rate. This is illustrative, not a guarantee of what any specific load will earn.

06

BROKER REVIEW

Before you commit, we review the information available to us on the broker - available authority/status information, company and contact consistency, available risk indicators, and load/document consistency.

Broker verification and risk review can help identify warning signs but cannot guarantee legitimacy, payment, conduct, or prevent fraud.

07

RATE NEGOTIATION

Once a load looks like a fit, we review the broker's initial offer and weigh it against miles, deadhead, timing, destination, and applicable load details. Where it makes sense, we go back with a counteroffer.

We negotiate with brokers to pursue competitive rates for your loads - we don't promise the highest rate on every load, since some rates simply won't move.

NO FORCED DISPATCH

YOU DECIDE.

AS Logistics Pro may search, evaluate, and negotiate the opportunity. But the decision to accept it is always yours.

Declining a presented load doesn't magically create another suitable load - availability still depends on the market. But you never lose the final say.

09

RATE CONFIRMATION & DISPATCH

After you approve, we coordinate the applicable rate confirmation, load details, pickup information, delivery information, appointment details, and broker instructions.

You and your driver should review the load information we send and raise any questions or conflicts before the wheels start turning.

10

PICKUP

As your truck heads to pickup, we help coordinate applicable pickup details, appointments, broker communication, and any delays or changes, along with document coordination.

Your driver remains responsible for safe, legal operation of the truck at every step - dispatch coordination supports the load, it doesn't drive it.

11

IN TRANSIT

While the load is moving, we assist with applicable check calls and status communication, appointment changes, broker communication, and keeping relevant parties informed of delays or issues.

Dispatch coordination does not replace your driver's responsibility for safety, hours of service, legal compliance, vehicle condition, or operational decisions on the road.

12

WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG

Freight doesn't always go according to plan - shipper delays, receiver delays, appointment issues, unexpected detention, load cancellations, layovers, TONU situations, and changed instructions all happen.

We help coordinate through these situations with the broker, but we don't control shippers, receivers, or brokers, and we can't guarantee accessorial payment when these situations arise.

13

DELIVERY & POD

At delivery, we help coordinate document handling, Proof of Delivery collection, broker communication, and applicable closeout of the load.

Timely, accurate documentation matters - it's often the difference between a clean closeout and a payment delay later.

14

PAYMENT & FACTORING

AS Logistics Pro does not pay the freight invoice. Payment comes through the applicable broker or paying party according to its terms, or through your factoring arrangement where applicable.

Factoring is a separate financial service from dispatch. We don't guarantee broker payment or factoring approval - our Pricing page covers this in full detail.

15

NEXT LOAD

Dispatch is a cycle, not a one-time transaction: deliver, close out, reposition, search again. Your truck's new location becomes the starting point for the next search.

This is where the process reconnects to Phase 04 - We Search For Loads - and starts again.
